Training Philosophy
We are not full-time trainers. We train about 10-15% of our time and are active on project and product delivery the other 85-90%. The goal behind this strategy is to provide you with an instructor that has been out there in the trenches, doing what is being taught and able to provide you with tips and tricks that go beyond the conceptual and technical material.
Training Program Promise
You can be assured of three things when you enroll in one of our classes:
- The instructor will be entertaining, fun, and engaging!
- The material will be relevant to your work. Concepts and practical skills will be presented in a balanced fashion.
- Tips, tricks, and practices from real projects will be incorporated into the program.
Why these three? Well, it's been rare that we've gone to a training class ourselves and left satisfied and happy. Looking back on the experience, we reasoned that the the disappointment came from either one or more of the above three items missing from the program. We guarantee that all three will be present in our offerings and that you will be truly glad you came.
Technical Training
Our technical training covers a wide-variety of topics. Please check out our training schedule for future classes.
Leadership Training
This is an area of development we originally didn't set out to advertise. However, our clients have asked us to provide workshops and provide coaching so frequently that this has now become a practice area for us. CIO's and the departments they lead are growing in importance. Technology can be a huge enabling factor for the enterprise. As a result, there are many opportunities for technical individuals to take on leadership positions in the organizations they serve. Our goal is to help technically-trained people develop strategic business thinking and executive-level communication skills.
